Raise your lightsabers to the sky!  Film & Chill is celebrating Star Wars this summer with our special presentation of Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.

 

Official Synopsis:

Discover the conflict between good and evil in the electrifying Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. After the destruction of the Death Star, Imperial forces continue to pursue the Rebels. After the Rebellion’s defeat on the ice planet Hoth, Luke (Mark Hamill) journeys to the planet Dagobah to train with Jedi Master Yoda, who has lived in hiding since the fall of the Republic. In an attempt to convert Luke to the dark side, Darth Vader (David Prowse/James Earl Jones) lures young Skywalker into a trap in the Cloud City of Bespin.

 

Screening alongside The Empire Strikes Back is the directing duo of Iggy LDN and Jordan MacRae and their short documentary film Hands and the everyday interactions and communications we have with them.

As part of our commitment to raise awareness and money for charity, Film & Chill have teamed up again with Sickle Cell Society, helping to improve the quality of life for sufferers of the disease.

 

We'll bring the entertainment, with tasty vegan and vegetarian food, drinks, music, and a indie short prior to the main film as we champion upcoming and emerging talent within the filmmaking community.  All you need to do is come along and enjoy this franchise classic on the big screen!
