On the 8th December 2018, Film & Chill welcomed audiences to their opening launch with a screening of family favourite and Christmas classic Home Alone.

To coincide with its launch, we proudly welcomed back filmmaker and poet Phil Dunn to screen his latest project Box Office Smash. Since its debut and joint collaboration between Film & Chill and Brixton Design Trail in September 2018, his short film has gone on to win multiple awards at the Macroproject Film Festival in New York, Pinnacle Film Awards, the Independent Short Awards and Royal Wolf Awards.

Guests were treated to a red carpet entrance and a winter garden filled with a live DJ performance and entertainment, food, drink and relaxed in our specially created 'Chill Zones'.

Film & Chill worked in collaboration with Honest Burgers to offer a 20% food discount for all attending guests and charitably raise money for the Sickle Cell Society.
