Founded in 2014, Brixton Design Trail has excelled as a community-based project, highlighting diverse and culturally-rich creatives and supporting the creation of their works with a series of art installations, creative workshops, events and exhibitions.  Working in partnership with Lambeth Council, Brixton Business Improvement (BID) and London Design Festival, Brixton Design Trail value culture and heritage by building a creative network to improve the social, cultural and economic opportunities for the community and local business in Brixton, South London.

Film & Chill joined forces with Brixton Design Trail in September to co-host a film screening to showcase the talented works of Phil Dunn and julianknxx.

As a successful filmmaker, poet and owner/director of Authentive (a Brixton-based production company) Phil Dunn screened his award-nominated short Juggler (2016), Box Office Smash and a poetry performance of Corpus Christie Bells.

Inspired by culture, traditions and storytelling through electronic music, Sierra Leonean born poet and multi-disciplinary artist julianknxx screened Did You Miss Me? and Candid Lover.
